Winnipeg, Manitoba, has a lot of offerings for its visitors. But if you’re going to travel there with your whole family, then amusement parks have to be at the top of your list. Winnipeg has quite a few amusement parks, so you may want to stay a few days and go to as many as you can. Below are just a few of the parks that you can visit.

Fun Mountain has over a half dozen water slides with exciting names like The Dragon, Kawabunga, and Shotgun Time Capsule. When you want to take a break from speeding down twisting slides, Fun Mountain has other attractions, too. Try playing a round of mini golf, taking a boat tour, or just relaxing in the giant hot tub. You can also take part in games and challenges. How does a watermelon eating contest sound?
The park has plenty of concessions, too. You can enjoy classic amusement park fare like hamburgers and hot dogs. Or you can try that uniquely Canadian treat, poutine.
Wonder Shows

If you want a park with a long history, Wonder Shows has been in operation since 1963 and it remains a Manitoba favorite. You’ll experience a classic carnival scene with rides, an arcade, and carnival eats. Moms and dads will feel like kids again when they see classic rides like the Tilt-a-Whirl. And the youngsters will have plenty of fun with rides like the Mini Jets. Of course, no carnival is complete without a Fun House. To take a break from the thrills, test your skill at arcade games like the Wonder Derby or Shooting Gallery. Then, indulge in treats like candy apples and popcorn.
Sky Zone Trampoline Park
If you’re looking for a nontraditional park, try Sky Zone Trampoline Park. This park has lots for teenagers and adults to do. Attractions include the Skyladder and Warrior Course. If you like competition, try Ultimate Dodgeball or Skyjoust.
This park isn’t just for teens and adults. You can find activities for children of all ages, including a Toddler Zone. Explore all the zones to find the ones most suitable for you and your children. Be prepared for everyone to leave the park exhausted, though. You’ll definitely have a good night’s sleep after spending a day at Sky Zone.
